The R.A.K. Society (Random Acts of Kindness) is a world-wide organization founded on the single principle of showing kindness to others. We firmly believe that there are still people in this world who care about other people and are not selfishly motivated. These people are kind, caring, and generous. They do good things for people without expectation of any reward or acknowledgement. These people are the ones who can truly change the world.

Known only as “The Boss”, the creator of the RAK Society has embarked on a life-long mission to combat the ever-growing epidemic of selfishness which manifests itself in the form of bullying and violence. Let’s face it… it’s everywhere! People are so inwardly focused that our schools have become war zones and our streets are unsafe to the point where people are afraid to walk their dogs. Depression and anxiety is at epidemic levels both in adults and teens. Direct bullying (pushing, hitting, shoving etc..) has been around as long as there have been people! Indirect bullying (name calling, rejection, cyberbullying etc..) has become more widespread with the growth of the Internet and violent video games. In our schools alone, the amount of students directly and indirectly affected by either bullying or violence in school has reached epidemic proportions..

In 2017 alone there were 44,193 suicides in the United States. For every suicide in the United States there were 25 more attempts! There were more than 200,000 (TWO HUNDRED THOUSAND) people who were either directly or indirectly affected by suicide.

215,000 STUDENTS AFFECTED SUICIDE!

(SOMEONE HAS TO ACTUALLY DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS AND NOT JUST TALK ABOUT WHAT THE OTHER SIDE ISN’T DOING)

This is why the RAK Society was created. Steering clear of the political “bottleneck” of bickering and finger pointing, the “BOSS” set out on a mission to do something about it. While doing a lot of self-reflecting, he realized that he is not a leader of industry, he is not a millionaire, he has never accomplished anything that would be news worthy… but what he COULD do.. is effect change in the world around him by doing just one thing…. BE KIND TO OTHER PEOPLE for no other reason than to be good to people.  Over the years this movement caught on in his small town and before long he recruited his Executive Director and then they started recruiting other like minder individuals who began changing the energy of their town.

Membership in the R.A.K. Society is exclusive and by invitation only. The RAK Society is not for everyone as membership in the RAK society is to be kept strictly anonymous! Members of the RAK Society do what they do because of the feeling they get when they do good things for others, not because of any recognition or praise. There are those who do not see the need for an organization such as the RAK Society. To those people.. we wish all the best.

Here’s who the RAK Society is for…

Those who want to make a difference.
Those who are not lazy and are willing to show others that there are people who care.
Those who take responsibility.
Those who are internally motivated.
Those who love to laugh and have fun.
Those who are not afraid to be seen doing great things for others.
Those who are looking to GIVE.

Here’s who the RAK Society is not for…

    Those who are seeking recognition.
    Those who are seeking rewards.
Those who are seeking incentives for good behavior.
Those who point the finger and pass blame.
    Those who are lazy.
    Those who make excuses.
Those who are not willing to work for what they gain.
Those who are looking to GET.

The RAK Society is now in communities all over the United States and the world. Based primarily in individuals, we are now in various local school systems, churches and other small organizations with the same heart for change. The identities of each member is a closely guarded secret and the details of other members is not to be discussed with anyone outside of the RAK Society.

You have found this website because of one of two reasons..1. You stumbled upon this website by accident. 2. You were shown kindness by an anonymous stranger and given a black card with our logo and QR code on the back… either way we are glad you are here!

You may be the kind of person we are looking for. If you are an individual who is not afraid to show random acts of kindness, and NOT get credit for it, the RAK Society could be for you. If you received a card, it is because one of our members was acting on the pledge they made when they received a card.. “Pay it forward to someone else if you can.. if you can’t.. just say something nice to someone and have an amazing day!”  If you are here by accident because you stumbled upon our site, most likely it is because you were searching the word “Kindness” on the internet which makes you a great potential member.

Members of the RAK Society never seek recognition for the things we do. Our Random Acts of Kindness are always completely anonymous. Fame or glory is not part of the RAK  Code of Conduct. Members of the RAK Society (and sometimes their are given missions and responsibilities to carry out each month. Members who complete all of their tasks will be eligible for certain internal recognitions within the Society. However keep in mind that reward is not why we do what we do. We do what we do because it is the right thing to do!

“The true meaning of life is not measured by what we gain! It’s by what we give!” – The “Boss” (1997)

THE BEST THING I’VE EVER DONE

“I joined the R.A.K. Society about a year ago. It was the best decision I have ever made. The RAK has made such a difference in my life as well as an impact on my small community!” – J (Sydney, Australia)

HOW COOL IS THIS?

“When I joined the R.A.K. Society, I had no idea how much fun it would be!  Doing good things for people and not letting them know who you are is a rush!”  – R (S. Binghamton, England)

“IT CHANGED MY LIFE!”

I was totally headed down the wrong path!  I was handed this plain black card and on one side was the initials R.A.K.  On the other side was my name and a location and time.  I went, not knowing what to expect and I have never been the same since.  My life changed for the better on that day!” – Y (Cleveland, Georgia)
